DIY Prosecco Bottle Engagement Gift

Since my wedding came and went, and I wrote all about my planning process from start to finish,  I no longer have anything else to write about regarding my wedding. I did not want to just end the blog like this, so I am pivoting to bring you wedding & anniversary gift ideas, planning events as a member of the bridal party, and anniversary date ideas.

My sister got engaged just months after my wedding so I never really left wedding mode since we have another wedding to look forward to in our family! I wanted to get them a gift to celebrate their engagement.

I was inspired by all the decorative bottles on Pinterest. I bought a bottle of Prosecco and I decorated it with some engagement ring scrapbooking stickers. Then, I bought a decorative white hair bow to wrap around the neck of the bottle. She could reuse the hair bow as a hair accessory for bridal events.

I bought a set of basic champagne flutes and filled them with Hershey kisses, which matched the silver color scheme.

The finishing touch was a white woven cotton rope basket with a silver heart on it, it really fit the color scheme. I filled the basket with white crinkle paper shred.

They got to enjoy their engagement gift when he came into town to visit! The next gift that I will be focusing on will be for the bridal shower.
